ADA MP-1 & ADA MP-2

It has all the 3TM mods, batt, noise, ultra and a mercury magnetics transformer plus the latest firmware.

Out of curiousity, when did Mercury Magnetics start making transformers for the ADA MP-1 preamp? I've never heard of or ever seen one.

I was an ADA guy for a while. Had the original. I tried the Classic but thought it sounded like shit. I also had the MP-2 which was mega gain but ultimately more processed than the 1st.
To bad they went under. It would be cool to see what that dude would come up with today.

I agree. Actually, ADA is back in business again, but they're not supporting their legacy rackmounted gear and Todd Langner who helped co-design the MP-1 preamp has passed away.

Afa as the transformer, that was what the seller tokd me about the 3TM he sold me. I can open it up.
