lol yeah, he def. won't be buying one. As for "buried in a mix" , sure you could make that argument about anything but if you are properly mic'in any amp and making sure it sits in a mix properly, I don't understand how a preamp into tube amp is going to be buried by a JCM800. To my knowledge the ADA may sound thin but it cuts just fine. I listen to old Extreme and White Lion live clips and the ADA's sound plenty big up there on stage coming through the monitors.
