If ADA were to reissue the MP-1 pre - and it doesn't have to be exactly the same as previous units, but instead a new incarnation - and include the cab simulation, flange, chorus from their analog line of effects, AND include DSP for reverbs, delays, etc...........I think it would take the world by storm!!!!! I think it would really compete with units like the Fractal or Kemper for guys who want "their sound" and aren't trying to replicate every amp in the world. Let's be honest - how many players are ACTUALLY using all those amps/effects when they play out??? Don't get me wrong - they are invaluable tools for studio recording, but I had both the Kemper AND a Fractal Ultra and with each one, I used maybe 4 or 5 of the amps to get the sounds I needed. Just not cost effective when they cost almost $3000.
But a new MP-1 with it's legendary REAL TUBE tone - along with new features, effects, and improved I.O. options - would almost automatically find a place in my rig!!!!
