I'm looking for something to use that I can quickly lock my floating bridge so I can drop D for a couple songs during our set. I don't have a Floyd on this guitar, just a Gotoh 510 and locking tuners

I don't know of anything that will lock as quickly as the Tremol-No. Wilkinson and Kahler use to make trems that essentially would lock once you let go of the trem bar, but you're probably not looking to swap the trem.

I have a few guitars with an ESP Arming Adjuster (the Goldo Back Box will do the same thing): depending on how it's set up, it will keep the trem from moving enough to quickly drop tune but you still can raise and lower the pitch with the bar. The trade off is that the trem will become very stiff.

I'm a big advocate of the Tremol-No.....it's the only thing I use.

Interesting...

I emailed them twice last month to find out which unit would work on my New LP Lifeson and never got a response.
This is the email I used:
info@tremol-no.com

He wants something that can quickly be locked or unlocked. I don't believe this does it.

On my Lifeson Axcess, I run an ESP arming adjuster. I set the spring tighter so that if you drop the down to the D, the trem stays stable. I have it on all of my guitars. Works perfectly for what I need it to do.

The ESP arming adjuster looks interesting but I don't want to drill any holes if I don't have too. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

Frankley I was hoping Tremol-no would just tell me which version work...I'd buy it and get back to playing! ;)

When I had a Tremol-No, I found when I did a bend, and released it slowly, it would cause a strange harmonic, and then the note dying - in a non-natural way. Anyone else find this?

I'm starting to think just do the double sided tape wood block and be done... ;)
