Im thinkin for the bridge, Motor City - Afwayu. No idea for the neck. anyone have any recomendations? Stock, I feel the tone is boxy and the mids are soft and boring. I would like better lows and more definition in the mids but still thick sounding.

Bareknuckle Cold sweats a direct amazing replacement for a PRS

Since you're going for a Motor City bridge pickup already, you might as well just have him wind you a neck pickup and let him know what you want. Otherwise, one of the most punchy neck pickups I've heard is actually the Suhr Doug Aldrich neck. It's one of my favorite neck pickups, along with Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell and WCR Godwood necks.

Hey Luxx, how does the Godwood neck compare to the crossroads neck?

To be honest, I've never compared the two neck pickups side by side at the same time. I have a Godwood neck in one of my Les Pauls and it's super articulate and clear with great sustain, no mud whatsoever. And I heard James Lugo's Crossroads neck in his Les Paul recently and it seemed to have all those same qualities. ( Plus it helps that he's such a good guitar player!) They both truly sound fantastic.

The Crossroads set is lower output than the Godwood set, so having slightly lower output should make it a little brighter with slightly less drive.
