Funny part is, this is cheap.
Thanks democratic voters.
We definitely appreciate it ?
That doesn't look like it has good bones. What area of the country is this handyman special?
Building is more expensive anyways, unless you can do it yourself I guess.I’m not sure 85k would get you a 1/4 acre to build on here

What kind of turd uses that style of font on a home listing? That's not even a full step above using comic sans.
I work with some contractors when they need metal railings, and residential things. Building yourself saves thousands upon thousands in this market. They are making bank selling pre built homes... and the build quality I've seen in million dollar homes is absolutely a fucking joke.
Stick with old construction that's been maintained whenever possible. The trim and plaster etc etc that covers the abomination of new build houses is incredible.
Usually the licensed contractor hires non licensed Hispanic crews for most of the work. They bid the jobs low, and the trim work at the end covers it up. I go on job sites and it's just coronas sitting everywhere and gaps, warps, half ass everything. All covered up in trim work. Then sold for a premium.
Been my experience anyway.
I bet that’s the shar-vell dude’s place.
My daughter is renting her own 1 b 1 ba apartment in St. Pete for 1250/mo. In 2009 I rented a 2 bed 1 ba house two blocks from st pete beach for 1100 and I thought that was nuts but I was sick of apartments @900/mo psssh the good ol days.I work with some contractors when they need metal railings, and residential things. 400 is the new 250.But what kind of turd tries to sell a turd for 85k !?!!?!??
Sad truth!!400 is the new 250.
Orders beaver fur hat 2016=250Sad truth!!
In states where building codes are extreme that is the only sanely priced option. Junk for 1600 a month....I see some landlord greed involved in this whole thing but single wides are almost as bad as maintaining an RV. I should finish my place out and rent it 2bd 1 bath cabin 5+ acres 2750/mo and just go buy a shack deep in the country on a creek with my cast iron, some bullets, and a couple fishin rods. Outhouse. Spring box water. Become a viking. Electric guitar for in town use only!!!This is what they called "build back better"
Probably my phone settings. I don't like traditional squared up fonts. Too clinical for me.

The listing's i see here are absolutely fucking retarded. Theres so much of this now. Take this single level for example... the raping of the people. Won't give you a $600 mortgage, when you can just do this instead right?

South East region
Looks like Grand Isle LA. I've looked there many times. Been there too, cool spot. Unless it's a million dollar place they are always redoing stuff on the home from the last storm. Places like that were never meant to have permanent structures IMO.For retirement, I'm considering other beach locations near the Atlantic or the Gulf. The closer you get to the water the more expensive the land, the building codes, and insurance if you can even get it.
Here's an example...
Here's a beach house I found. Built in 2008. Has almost everything I need, until I looked into the location and more pics. Compared to most places on the ocean or gulf, some of the home prices in this area are reasonable...for good reason.
Turns out many houses in the area have been washed away or severely damaged from hurricanes, tropical storms, and storm surge. Good luck getting insurance.
In the pic below, you can see the tide is going out, you can see the high tide water line underneath.
It's why I'm no longer considering this an option. There are houses further back from the water though.
The water is the Gulf of Mexico.
