Just got this from Thoman, what a freaking amp.
I previously had an Einstein 50w and a VH4. Sold them because I was not playing much electric guitar, I was mostly gigging as an acoustic act. After watching all the videos out there on the Paul I took the jump and wow. NONE of the clips make justice to the amp, and I mostly blame it on the phones these days that compress the audio too much when you make a video.
The biggest surprise I have is how much it resembles a Dumble amp. Am I crazy? the clean channel is very Fender like but like a modded fender instead of a traditional Blackface. Almost like a Two Rock, which we know is a copy of a Dumble style circuit. The gain of the Paul ALSO reminds me a lot of a Dumble style of gain... I have a J Rockett The Dude pedal which is a ODS type of pedal and channel 3 of the Paul is almost a perfect match in the gain structure.
