because of my job I have been in tons of fights....I'm not bragging and I'm no badass. What I have learned is there's no such thing as a fair fight. They all go to the ground eventually. Unless your trained and in shape for it you have maybe thirty seconds till your asshole is sucking pond water. If your jumped by more than one your pretty much done. The movie and tv shit really is not real. And fights in prison are like roulette....always bet on black.....and I guarantee if any forum members met up it would be a good time. Surprised it took so many hints to jog the memory of a 4th degree black belt like yourself for something that you typed only a few days ago.

You know, I have a buddy who just tested for his 4th. As an ambassador for the sport, he does not demonstrate such a lack of memory, plausible deniability, or just being plain downright disingenuous over and over. You'll also notice that not once have I called you any names, as that is not really something he nor I would do.

When my boy was younger we watched lots of MMA... he broke one of my ribs two differnt times with a knee.
Painful as all hell but even worse is tearing an intercostal muscle - the ones that hold your ribs together.

Wound up a golf shot as hard as I could and ended up hitting the ground HARD in front of the ball instead.
Felt like someone stabbed me with a red hot poker. Just brutal pain.
Healing took forever. Learned very quickly if a sneeze was coming on to hug myself as tight as possible and lean
against a wall.

My boys got rear ended last week by an old lady at a red light. She hit them pretty hard. My oldest had the same exact thing happen…torn rib cartilage. Thought he broke a couple ribs but didn’t. He said it hurts pretty good.

I got punched in the side by the same 4th degree black belt I was talking about up above and broke three ribs. At the time he was a 3rd and I was a 1st and we were annihilated drunk and fucking around a little too hard. Even drunk off my ass it was the worst fucking pain in my life and they took me to the hospital and I was so bad off the doctors thought I might have done more than break my ribs so they made me drink contrast and gave me an MRI. They thought I had ruptured some internal organs.

Well, I just laid in my bed for two weeks straight taking pain killers. So around the end of week two I woke up one morning and finally sat up and stretched a little and I heard a "pop" and bam back down I go for another week.

For almost a year the bones were still kind of sticking out of my side but I guess they finally went back in place. I'm telling you what that is the worst fucking pain ever.
