No dude, that is just our Home page. Our new landing page if you will. No one looks at it. But you are right, it is similar in the descriptions. IIRC - @Monkey Man himself hand picks threads he likes out of the main forum and gives it a caption if you will. Unless @Monkey Man is paying AI to do it - it is different then what is going on at Teh Ghey Paige

It was a temp ban, but Dan was right; Cliff was being stalked by the infamous Donnie B and his alt army, when Donnie was clearly posting as an alt and TGP mods weren’t doing anything, Cliff merely asked aloud in a post why that was allowed to occur and the temp ban came from questioning moderation. He likely got some infraction points for his Dunning Kruger/Mt Stupid meme he posted at someone trying to inform him how he should program the AxeFX as well, but it was mainly calling out the lack of legit moderation.

And yes, most reports aren’t worthy of reporting. That’s why I follow the reported post’s history and when i find the person pressing the Report button instigated or is just being a bitch, I screenshot the report and post it directly in the thread and call them out. Got rid of a couple TGP transplants right away doing that.

90% of the time the only report-worthy posts are community based, not personal conflicts, like spammers and shit.

I was able to open both of those link yesterday with no problem and I'm not a user. Chrome on laptop. Today, I can only get to the second link because the first link (TGP thread in question has since been locked) Frickin Nazis'

The first thread was a "hey - look at this" type thread, where the second was "Celestion Peacekeeper Impressions". At the top of that thread shows how their new AI implementation has summarized the entire thread into an AI created paragraph summary about the Product (Celestion Peacekeeper). The attached photo at the bottom of my post is a screen shot of the last page of that thread. People are complaining because A. They didn't give permission for their thoughts to be regurgitated (even though they probably did when they accepted the Terms and Conditions). And B. It is just clunky and a way for TGP owners to get more hits to their site when people do searches on things.

Let me practice that now:

If I Google that TGP shows up as the 3rd result (although not that particular thread we are talking about).
If I Google Gemini AI that TGF shows up Drew - you using AI too?

Fuck no, TGP might have money to throw at hosting space but we pay out of our own pocket to keep the lights on at TGF and there’s no way in fuck we’d dedicate bandwidth to an AI bot, even if our members WOULDN’T be vehemently opposed to it, which they absolutely would be and rightly so, IMO.

No way dude, the AI posts are the communisms, they’re meant for everyone and come from the work of others!

Pay no mind to the fact that the *only* reason this is being done is to drive up site traffic and ad revenue for the owners who do not give a single fuck about guitar gear and likely don’t even know wtf TGP is because the $6mill a year with minimal overhead wasn’t enough. Definitely communism.

Interesting update. It appears the A.I. paragraph that was inserted into MHG's thread (Celestion Peacekeeper Impressions) was removed. Edited out by a mod yesterday 5/5/26.

@SgtThump - you should be able to open this if I can and I'm not even logged into that site. The thread that MHG posted the other day about the fact that TGP was inserting AI driven content summaries at the top of (some) people's thread is now locked or whatever as I cannot get to that one (as stated).

It's prolly useless to members most of the time, but its purpose is to inform potential members what the forum's all about, hence the two descriptions and sample threads to check out.
