hey mr.harris ,
i notice from your signature that you own a couple of amps on my "try next" list , namely the ecstacy and the pro mod .

how does the bottom end ,power section and compression ( under gain ) on these amps compare to the VH4 ?

the reason i ask this is that i love the bottom end and the incredible punch from the power section of my VH4 , but am not so crazy about the compression ...

find the "sweet spot' in the gain where the dynamics are full but not-yet-so-compressed.....
more gain is more compression. so experiment with decreasing the gain & play some with the mids.
