Canada's a nice country. One of the best places to live in the world by some metrics. I hope they sort this out without any violence or divisions that fester. The referendum should be held, obviously, but I'd be quick to point out what happened to Britain after Brexit as an example of what happens when the people get what they want but not what they deserve.
