I thought it was a thread about Albertans seeking a referendum on seceding from Canada. There really is no justification for racism in this thread, as far as I can tell. Just came across as some people unable to convey coherent arguments resorting to verbal sledging. I mean, I agree that RT has liberal free speech policies, which I have benefited from myself, but how the thread went sideways from a Canadian referendum to racist comments is perhaps something for the mods to study. After all, tonnes of people get banned due to posts in these OT forums, more than the regular gear-related ones, I'd wager.
