I play a Boogie Mark V and a 5153 50 Watt and I use my volume knob a lot to change my tone. I like a pickup that cleans up well with the volume rolled back.
These are some tones I like, but I also need it to clean up well:
John Sykes, Brad Gillis on Speak Of The Devil, Aldrich On Burning Rain
Would you guys who have played an Aldrich in a Les Paul recommend it or do you think an another pickup would be better for my application?
