Ok
So I am reading the site description, this is ready to go in a 2204 then as well?

Is it a JCM800? Those have tons of room and it’ll fit great. The smaller JMP chassis is more of a challenge but it can work.

Just remember that the relay needs a 12vdc power source to operate. There are easy to install options for a DC supply that I have ordered to test. They are compact and should fit easily. The standard DC switching supply I use is much bigger.

This might be dumb as all get out to ask....

Could you cascade the add on board into another add on board and go from 3 gain stages to 5?

You technically could do that. You could set it up so you could switch between 3, 4 and 5 stages. Even different combinations.

Now you need to make a clip with sounds 😍😍

Not that I really need any convincing

I will absolutely make a video. I’ve been searching for a stock 2203 locally to install an Add-a-Stage into. I have a 100% stock JCM 800 2203 but it’s time capsule and I can’t drill into that one in good conscience.

If anyone close by in So Cal has a stock JMP or JCM 800 2203 and wants a free Add-a-Stage installed hit me up. I’ll use it for a demo and do the install for free.

What timing!
The day I order your mod for my JTM, Dave F. emails me my amp he has had to mod is finished up!
It’s like it’s my birthday!:ROFLMAO:

While it would technically work in the circuit, I’m looking at gut shots of the Windsor online and I don’t see much free space to place the Add-a-stage.

If you’d be able to take a look at your amp and see if there’s room to mount it, it may be possible.
The 100 watt Windsor head the chassis is enormous inside with tons of room between boards...I have one myself. Should be plenty of room in the head version...idk regarding the combo or studio

Would that work with my Windsor?
If you have the 100 watt head it should. Mine the chassis is huge with tons of space. I know the guy at Peavey that designed them laid them out that way so they could be easily modded. Now the combo or studio version IDK

That’s all well and good but what if I wear tan pants and correspondingly want to remove gain stages from my amp?
