Been a while since I posted here hope all is good with everyone.
Last night saw Alterbridge live in NYC at the Best Buy Theater. The show was killer Myles, Mark and the Band rocked.

But the shining moment for me was seeing and hearing a band I new very little of and never heard before.

MONSTER TRUCK!!!

HOLY $#!T !!!

These guys were amazing. Straight out of the 70's with that American Southern Soulful Hard Rock Vibe but from Canada. Was completely blown away their stage presence their vocals and musicianship. Left there with the songs playing in my head had to hit up iTunes for their music as soon as I got home. These guys are definitely one of my new favorite bands to listen to and can't wait to see them live again.

AlterBridge was awesome. The rocked.

Mark's Tone was good. Yup he had that insane rig of his. Mesa 3Rec - Bogner Uber- PRS Archon & Fender for Cleans. Couldn't tell what he had mixed if he was playing any of them alone or a mix of the 3. Myles Tone was significantly louder than Marks. Myles Diezel tone was sick as well.

Monster Truck are fucking heavy man!! Would love to see them

Hell Yes! Straight up Righteous Hard Rock and Roll the way it should be!

Never knew there was a band named monster truck, that's awesome. Was a bit worried like many bands with cool fun names the band would suck but those guys are great!

Ive seen Monster Truck like 8 times in front of as few as 25 people. They are a great band but at times the singer treads a weee bit too close to Kroegerville. Amazing band though.

Yup, I'm officially a Monster Truck fan now. Thanks for posting  this!

Monster Truck is great. First time I heard them was when they opened for Slash. Been a fan since. My band covers Sweet Mountain River.

Yep monster truck had such better tone in ATL, hard to tell but it looked like MT guitarist was using a Morris head. It sounded like quilts were placed over cabs when alterbridge started playing.
Here I am hanging with monster truck guitarist!!

I could listen to them all day! I do think Alter Bridge is a talented band, but Miles is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and they just don't keep my attention. Monster Truck is a pretty lame band name, but I could listen to then all day long, and not get bored.

I almost went to see AB in Dallas. I looked at tickets and couldn't figure out how the hell they were gonna do Monster Trucks in The House Of Blues :)

When I saw them he was using a Soldano. I googled it and apparently he has a SL60

Jeremy Widerman, the Monster Truck guitarist has been using a MORRIS MT GRINDER since their U.S. tour started April 14th.

There are a few posts about it on the Morris Amplification Facebook page from March 27 to 29th including some pics of the build of the amp....

This YouTube uploader put up some videos of Monster Truck and Alter Bridge in Baltimore last week...

And below is a quick demo video of the MT GRINDER by Morris amps. It looks like the GRINDER model but without the clean channel. Maybe it was tweaked for Jeremy too.

Hope that helps. Cool classic sound the band has. I dig 'em!

Just downloaded Monster Trucks "Furiosity".
Thanks to the OP for turning me onto them.
Goes to show what a bass player and a Guitar player can still do old skool.
No need to shred here
