Need some input on a multi amp head switcher which allows my two tube amplifiers to switch between one speaker cab in the dry signal as well as have the wet speakers (2 more cabs) run with stereo effect. There are a few pedal and rack devices out there. I’m not looking for an ABY unit. I need something to keep my speaker cabs to 3 Thanks in advance

I'd probably need to understand exactly how you're running things, but for how I'm imagining it, the egnater SS4 would do that. It had a line out to feed to the a stereo power amp for the wet. 4 amps could be switched into 1 cab (dry) and then a line out could run to effects to a stereo power amp for wet. If you're wanting to somehow split the speaker level output of an amp so you're imagining using 2 tube amps for both wet and dry somehow I don't see how that's possible.

You got it right. The soldano and EVH switchable into one cabinet dry. Then a line out into a stereo effect into a dual stereo amplifier and those in turn into the wet cabs. Problem is…. No egnater SS4 on the market anymore ?.

The Ampete 444 has a line out. It will do what you want, but you’ll also need a separate power amp to power the wet cabs. Your wet cabs will only be wet and not switchable to dry.

I gave up on this idea after I bought my second Metropoulos Head Master. They worked great, but I was never going to bring that many cables to a gig. And that was only for two heads into one cab. Fine for home or studio use, but not viable for gigs unless you have roadies.

Yeah. I have a stereo amplifier that I would use for the wet cabs.

The Egnater SS4 appears as if it did what I wanted (obviously no longer on the market) which leads to this conversation…. Anything similar?

Looks like Ampete sells stuff with Line Out capability. That should let you do what you're looking for. :)

Just as a heads up, you'll need a separate stereo power amp to drive your wet cabs though.

If it doesn’t have to be an all-in-one unit, you could also use any amp switcher (like a Metro Headmaster, KHE 4x2, Ampette…) and then put a Suhr ISO Line Out in between the switchers speaker output and the dry cab. That would feed your wet effects.

Got it. Just need an interface for it all.

What about this and using the tuner out as your line out for stereo?

Or are you wanting to be able to switch between DRY and WET with the footswitch?

A bit confused by your description.

This is what I want

I purchased the De Lisle 8x6 Pro one about a month ago and really happy with it.
8 amps, 6 speakers. Allows sharing of an effects loop too. Quality is really good, solid. Works great. I don’t do the wet dry stuff, but works really well with my 6 amps and a CaptorX and Suhr RL.

I think this one looks like it does what you need with a line out, dual simultaneous cabs.

Looks like a good unit but he wants Midi footswitching capability from what I gather from his previous posts.

These are nice but I don’t see that a foot switch can run them.
The KHE is fully Midi footswitchable from what I can see. Check out Euge Valovirta's You Tube channel he is using the KHE and he uses a Midi footswitch controller.
