LULz

you little clowns.

i edited my post because i realized that i was wrong here.

i dont have very much patience and i didnt feel like whats his face answered my question.

so i overeacted and then realized that he wasnt being a dick he just wasnt being helpful even though was in fact trying.

so i edited my post and i see all this? good lord you all have too much time on your hands.

anyway, Im sorry for being an ass, just the way it goes sometimes.

so like i said before... nvm.

I meant it when I said welcome .... :)

I would think everyone well move forward ..... and I hope you stick around. ......

on the bright side apparently this forum allows people to tell each other to go fuck themselves... which is a plus.

About the only thing that well get you banned is racism. It self regulates most of the time. I think ?

Everybody knows that teh vh140c is teh most brootal of teh brootz. U just can't handle the power of teh uber metalz. STFU noob.

How's my HCAF impression? :D

lol

so heres a new question then.

right now im using ableton live 8.04 through the effects loop on this busted ampeg.

im getting HUGE volume out of it, im assuming thats due to the power amp.

the question i have, is whether or not to keep this thing as im relatively happy with the current situation BUT, if i can return it to music go-round get my 250 back, and then buy a cab of some sorts will my little tascam us 122-l have the power to push the cab, or do i NEED the power amp for that level of output?

i guess what im asking is do i NEED an amp to power a cab properly, or does a cab somehow supply enough power on its own.

and yes this is a noob question... sort of.

yes you'll NEED a power amp, somethings got to push the signal.... you have a cab? if so, I'd return it, buy a power amp and your good.

Yes you will need a power amp, there are plenty of cheap SS rackmount ones available.

hold up a sec... do you not have a cab? what are you running the amp into?

Well, as a pompus wanna be rock star, I can say without question, there is no "sort of" here, this IS a noob question. But we're all here to help noob! Unless you get a POWERED cab you will need a power amp to power it.

Without getting caught up in the drama here.....

There's a guy over at HCAF who has a schematic of the VH140C in his sig....I believe his moniker is cryptic1911. If you want to have a tech go over it, the schematic will certainly help if it needs repairs.
