Very excited about this trip, could seal the deal on the final high gainer that I buy. I really want to ring Dave's CCV as well, wish it was the CCM though as I am not playing the amp merry go round buying and selling. I just want to buy the right one the first time.

The CCV is a goddamn monster... you are gonna LOVE playing it!

I'd really like to have a CCM sitting side by side to compare them through my own setup though... Last time I played a CCM I was... ahem... substantially impaired, shall we say...

Those guys were killing me, my first NAMM and I am all intense and wanting to take everything in and there is Ralph and Bob gassing the crap out of the Marshall amp booth and then trying to bail out

We will see, I have no doubt that amp is awesome but Mike and Mark are a tad different in their mods and wondering if those same traits follow over to their own platforms. Mike's own amps are simular to his mods, we'll see.

Ok, allow me to clarify. I was substantially impaired for guitar playing - reduced from my normal crappy legato EVH rip-off licks to endless, mindless chugga chugga riffs... Poor Ivan just sat there in misery listening to the blaring CCM waiting for me to finish because he wanted to play the damn thing... poor guy...

For life, however, I WAS just getting started...

Isn't the Natas aimed more for the metal tones? I would think the CCM would be the direct competition there. You might be waiting a long time to hear the CCV get a beatdown, that amp rips!
