Anyone else think Jews are behind what's going on in Israel

I was busy watching a guy in Australia build a replica pedalboard of Ed Van Halen's early gear, and after an hour he wound up with a tone that sounded nothing like VH.

Yeah everything is wonky these days. Boys are girls, the Republican establishment is basically democrat, the left is pro war, pro big business and against free speech, civil rights and bodily autonomy. Vaccines that maim and don’t prevent disease are “Safe and effective.” And the Jews are “Never againing” the Palestinians. ?‍♂️

I can agree on some of that (y)

You think it's someone else? ...Like American deep state or some shit? Corporations, Finance? C'mon man, don't leave me hangin' I love me some new conspiracy theory!
The universe was created by robots.

I really wish people still quoted National Lampoon, it was easily the edgiest humour publication in history

I'd scan and upload the contents of my Nat'l Lampoon cartoon collection but it's still being sold, which I'm happy to see!

It's this one. It's the funniest fucking God damned book I've ever owned, and I've proudly had it since 2000. Bought it when I was in high school, after we got our first Chapters location.

Have not read through this thread but I thought I would share a story with you guys. I have a buddy who is a hardcore atheist. He’s more of a friend of a friend but I hooked him up with some drank at camp, so we’re cool. Anyway he’s hardcore….militant almost. He was half drunk and started talking shit about Christianity. I’m a believer.. I will not turn away or not proclaim my savior Jesus Christ. Now don’t get it twisted…you do you and I will do me…with respect. I don’t proselytize to anyone unless asked. So anyway my buddy is going in hard and I finally had enough and let him have it. Got pretty nasty but never crossed any lines…unlike him. Moral of the story is that I told him that his religion is atheism and he is almost as bad as a suicide bomber. The constant hate and borderline rage but the constant disrespect….he’s a zealot worshiping at the altar of nothingness..and if you don’t listen to him you’re a filthy pagan from his perspective. Then I said that I have never disrespected him in any way…ever. But the constant shit talking was pure disrespect to me and I was done. I meant it. He said what we call around here “fighting words “. I said that if he ever said anything like that in front of me it’s not going to be pretty. I will either leave or go hard. Sorry for the goofy and long post but it has kinda been on my mind. I actually got through to him, at least for a minute. What kills me is the level of disrespect he was showing me. This all took place on a private message board that we have. We all hook up at camp 5 or 6 times a year and drink a lot of drank and shoot a lot of guns…and blow shit up. Just typical festivities for us around here. We have winter camp coming up next month and I really don’t want to have to fuck this guy up but damn….enough is enough with the bullshit. Am I outta line here or what? Sorry for the rambling post but I was just curious as to what you guys think about this little situation?

I don’t think you’re out of line at all. I get how some people feel entitled to rage against certain groups, but it’s just lame. That being said, if someone is part of a group that believes something or is engaging in something you oppose, maybe it’s okay to bring up the beef in a respectful way, depending on the context. And maybe they hear you. Maybe you change your mind. But when they start playing dumb, are illogical, combative, etc., have at ‘em!

Curious: what did he say that was so offensive? Did he know you were Christian? Do you know why he’s so anti Christian? Those details could be relevant, but in general, I think people should be respectful towards one another, at least until that respect is not reciprocated.

nasty comments about my religion in general, but then he basically cursed God and Jesus. He knows I'm a christian because we have spoken about it. I'm not dealing with that. Especially when your doing it to piss me off because you lost your argument.
