For instance, you said you don't know how God deals with believing, non-orthodox Christians. I don't understand that attitude, given that scripture is very clear about how one comes to salvation. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth. It does not say you must belong to a certain church or denomination.
The bible in Matthew also says many false christs will arise so which christ? Confess what? There are many church creeds and statements of faith. Are all of them true and biblical?

You state scriptures that while true, are too generalized in and of themselves. Do I think a dedicated bible based non-orthodox believer who lives a life of repentance, prayer, fasting, forgiveness, humility, love, and charity stands a good chance making the pearly gates? You are basically asking me to be a judge of another person and we aren't to judge others in any way shape or form in orthodoxy. The only thing I can tell you is that it is a mystery how the Lord deals with them. That's not a condemnation of that person in the way you seem to be suggesting.

ask anyone in a fox hole if they believe in jesus or not. That will be your true answer

Well I got no use for it then. Religion is just for people that are gullible. That's why it works for them.

God never promised that it would be easy. Just like anything in life that's worthwhile, if you're not willing to put in a little work then you're going to get out of it exactly what you put into it. As I had mentioned before, it's not religion that's going to save you, it's a relationship. How many times have you met someone and your life was instantly transformed? It takes time to get to know them and (hopefully, if it's the right person) you begin to see how that person being there is beneficial to you, helping you, etc... Don't focus on religion, focus on building that relationship, that is where the true change and the help comes from. If you really want God's help, check out your local churches and see if there is one that speaks to your needs. Here are some links to my church if you want to check it out and just listen to the message.

No, but I also believe Christianity is critical to a well functioning society and almost everything that is good about civilization today is a result of it's presence.

Many times here I've heard you complain about people on the job who just want to show up, and get paid without doing anything, yet you expected the same thing from the Lord. Time for some self examination.

DAYUM!!!!! Below the belt. LOL
I don't know how to self examine myself.
Regardless of what it is, people don't want to put in work whether it's a job, marriage, instrument, etc. They want instant satisfaction and it's not a reality in any part of life.

The only apostles that were Biblically recorded in death were Judas (by suicide after he betrayed Jesus) and James (by Herod). The other apostles deaths and/or causes of death are not mentioned as biblical record, only mentioned later as "historical" reference but we can assume that the above is correct. Peter even requested to be crucified upside down because he didn't feel he was worthy of dying in the same way as Jesus did. I'm sure this is meant to be some sort of "dig" on Christianity, but what I see are 11 people that refused to renounce their faith and preached about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ even though it cost them their lives. Yet more proof that Jesus existed, if you ask me.

Indeed, so-called passionate protesters will turn around and go home if it gets too-cold for them or rains, and yet those same peeps will doubt the authenticity of something for which folks would gladly give their lives.

IOW, for zero profit; quite the opposite in fact.

In orthodoxy the synaxarion details the life and death of tens of thousands of saints. I think some people get hung up on scripture only but there are also patristic writings from the early church fathers, that while not part of the Canon, are valid and authentic and authoritative historically and assist us in better understand the Canon.

So I pray and nothing happens. Then what? Pray more?

Prayer, fasting, prostrations, attending liturgy, living prayerfully i.e showing kindness to those who don't deserve it. Helping the poor. Visiting those who are sick and imprisoned. Forgiving those people who have wronged you.
