redrol Active member May 21, 2008 #3 I haven't done a MM but I do have an OEI OT in my 2204 JMP. It was an 'upgrade' and I believe it. A lot of high end modders use MM transformers and I think its probably hard to go wrong, especially since thats a reissue. Go for it.

Qweklain Well-known member May 21, 2008 #4 Back when I had a DC-10 combo, I put a MM OT in, and it made it more cleared and more thicker. It was definitely a 100% + in my book.

glpg80 Well-known member May 21, 2008 #5 i dunno if this will help any, but i was told the 5150's MM tranny's were designed after the jcm800's. i love what it did for my 5150II. it made it more compressed and definately made an improvement over rhythm and solo tones. they are a bit overpriced for what i saw in improvement, but i would definately do it again if i had too. -matt
