Hey guys,
Just wanted to drop a quick post about my Gretsch G6659 Broadkaster Jr. I’ve had it for about 3 years now, so this isn’t a first impression — more like a “we’ve been through a lot together” kind of thing.
It’s the Japan-made center block model with the smaller body. Super comfy, light, and still has that Gretsch vibe — chimey, punchy, and really fun to play. The full’Trons are more versatile than classic Filter’Trons, but they still keep things clear and dynamic. Great with pedals too.
I made a demo/review video in my home studio to show how it sounds in a real-world context (clean and edge-of-breakup stuff mostly
