Any experience with Frankenstraat?

The OFR route. Distance between stud holes are 67.5 millimeters. It should be 74.3 mm in order for the floyd to fit, ya know?

As you can see, the upper hole is about 3/8", or 10mm to far towards the lower one. Doesn't really matter that it's misaligned with both the neck and the pickup routes, cause i'd never be able to get a floyd on there anyways...

Is this supposed to be aligned with the heel? Not sure if it's the hole rout that's misaligned, or just the stud hole... Anyways, a shot of the back side.

That's the lowdown. I won't be able to fit a floyd here...

Did you pay with a credit card? Hopefully you can contact the CC company and explain the situation and start a claim. Or even perhaps through PayPal you might have some ability to get buyer protection mediation. Just a thought as it seems it may be a long stressful process getting satisfaction directly from the seller.

PayPal's Buyer Protection is usually 45 days from date of purchase, but I would contact them immediately and explain you just received the product, etc......maybe they would bend the rules a little for you?
 
That sucks... As I said, this guy does not know what the fuck he is doing. My "neck" was completely messed up as well...

Meanwhile, I'll measure up my USA Custom neck and body tonight and let you know what I got, it's a surface mount Floyd like yours. I have the OFR bridge, so I'll set it in there and post some pics.

BTW, from what I can read, the PayPal buyer protection only is for items sold through eBay. This was purchased over the frankenstraat.com site, and payed for with paypal... I've sent James a mail, asking him for refund of the OFR ($200), and either a $175 for the body, or a new body faster than lightning....

I think it was you Steve who told me to stay away from them. I remember asking about them about 18 months ago and you had worned me about there product and service. Thanks again

Kage - Stay away from Chris. He lied to me for 1.5 years before I finally had to drive to his house to get my money and parts back because I didn't trust him to send them back to me. His erratic, sometimes poor work, deceit and utter disregard for customer service is well documented at Jemsite and other places on the net.
