Any idea what this speaker is?

I pulled this out of my Mark III combo shell - then realized it doesn't look like anything I've ever seen in person nor does it resemble any photo I can find of a G12-65... any thoughts? Was looking to get a pair of G12-65's for a custom Mather cab I'm having built and I got excited for about a second. I don't recall it sounding all that fantastic either, but I'm not a combo guy. It is definitely 15.7ish ohm as per my multimeter. No codes stamped on the basket.. there is a code on the cone but Google turned up nothing.

Not only is that not a G12-65 but it doesn’t even look like a Celestion. Let’s see a pic of the speaker terminals

I didn't think it looked like a Celestion once I started digging into it. Nor an Eminence.

MS12? I think? That stamp looks familiar. Eminence made, kinda like a G12 80 in sound but more neutral

So, they made 2 types of MS12; one with a smooth cone and one ribbed. Can’t find any cone stamp pics anywhere. Also could be a VS12 which are similar to a V30?
Edit: I did find a pic of a Mesa Black Shadow VS12 that looks similar; same speaker frame with the notches, 8 mounting holes and the magnet is the same. Cone stamp is different though

Interesting. I bought it from a buddy who got it off Reverb. It was listed as a g12-65 but obviously that’s wrong. I will do some more digging myself. Thanks!
