Any Ideas on Vocal Mics?

So in the last week I ended up with 2 new mics haha. First one:

KAM RT1 - this is a dynamic mic that has a Ribbon Tone, hence RT, It's really great for the price. I used it at a show on saturday and the tone/response was great. Also the handling noise was pretty low. If you're not familiar with KAM definately check them out.

Second:

Blue enCore 100 - this mic is all around awesome. It has a little weight to it, which i like, built like a tank. I did a side by side with a few other mics (Audix OM2, EV767, Sennheiser e838, and SM58) and for my voice this works really well. Even handles the screams pretty good too. It is really sharp looking as well. Blue really nailed this one.

If you want a vintage looking mic that sounds great..

..They sound damn good compared to a Shure 555 and have much better response & rejection off axis. The problem is they might not handle your scream stuff that well. Might have to buy one to try it out.

Guitarslinger & Jet66 are right on.. Just about anything Audix sounds better than anything Shure. If you're not going to buy a vintage looking mic, go with an Audix OM6. My favorite scream mic by far. Scream requires you do pull off the mic a bit, which thins out your response. The OM6 has a extended low-end and a flatter top end, so screaming off the mic still sounds right. The OM5 and OM7 not so much, as they thin out way to fast as you pull off.
