Sorry to create another one of these threads
I love these apps. They sound great to me. Very impressed with great sound and little cost.
I highly recommend this but I do have a few questions and was hoping someone can help.
It can get a bit noisy and the free noise gate in jam up doesn't wow me.
I am not very familiar with gates at all but I can't get it to cut immediately. There is still a bit of noise and almost a short delay when I stop.
So my question is are there any gates you can buy on jam up that are clearly better than the free one or maybe specific settings I should use for decay and sensitivity?
I also am curious about what other people are using for a power amp.
I've got a no name brand 100w PA head that I'm using to push my 4x12 and it does sound decent but the gear nerd in me says there's something better out there.
I'm tempted to buy the .44 magnum pedal for the fact that it's a freaking pedal!!! And portable. but 44w vs. my 100w scares me.
I'm going to use this for a full band practice in a metal band and probably live as well. The other guitarist is using a 6505 and I think those are 120w.
Anyway, power amp suggestions?
Very low budget, I can't afford a Mesa 50/50 or VHT 2/90/2 or anything.
Trying to keep it around $100 if possible or I can continue to use the 100w that I already have.
