any love for David Torn around here?

This guy takes looping to another place. Currently listening to Polytown and its out there, beyond.
 
yeah man, I just saw/met/heard him at the L.A. Amp Show - he is playing is truly other worldly! :thumbsup:
 
I have Prezens on my ipod. I have to in the right mood for it. Someone on TGP explained it perfectly, it's great music for sitting on a subway or bus waiting for your stop.

I dig him
but I was already into looping before I had ever heard of David Torn
I got into looping about 6 years ago or so after hearing Michael Brooke

I got rid of my giant rack..
but I still have my digital echoplex and not sure how to hook it up with my wet dry rig

To me what Torn does with loops is the smallest part of what I dig about him. I love his gradual clean to gain morphing for chords and lines. Plus he's an amazing composer/producer.
