Any plans on a preamp?

I'm curious if there are any plans on a preamp? A simple 2 channel would be killer. Channel
one clean and channel two gain. Make the gain channel 3 from the VH4. Also on the gain channel have a boost & 2nd switchable volume for leads. Done! Something like that would be killer & I bet it would be pretty popular

I think this has been up on many a discussion threads in the past, but it is always a good thing to talk diezel shop my 2 pennies once more on a diezel rackmount pre:
1.No more than 2 or 3 spaces
2.Front input and rear input w/ 2 outs
3.3 or 4 channels, w/ 2nd master vol.
(The best (preamp) attributes from the herbie and vh4 w/mid cut option on all channels,+ perhaps a "new" modern sound.
please-no tone controls shared
4.Standard 1/4" control switching, w/ perhaps a midi option
5.Removable ac cord( on some pre's, you get stuck w/ a 10 ft cable and nowhere to put it neatly in your rack-weve always had to get custom 2 footers made).
6.The various bright,deep,tight switches..
7.That "Diezel" "magic tone"
And last, but not least: If Peter makes it;its gonna be a hit!
