Used to own a K100. I absolutely loved that amp. My power amp is a serious piece of gear as well. I don't know of a lot of companies where the #2 guy (Paul Jr.) picks up the phone and personally addresses customer inquiries. You have a made a good choice.

I have owned and gigged a R30, Knucklehead, and a M60. In my opinion, there is no other amp that has more versatility and tone in the clean channel on the market. Any clean tone you want is there.

I have always had a love/hate thing going with the gain channel though. I don't like to tweak and to get what you want requires some tweaking on that side of the equation. Once you get it then it's great. It's just getting there that is a pain for me.

I had a Knucklehead, and LOVED the clean channel, but the high gain channel did not have enough gain for me. Had an issue with it at one point, and called Rivera and they were very helpful!

I have a TBR-2SL, and a TBR-3

THey are absolutely beastly. They are built like tanks. They are easy to work on. They sound warm as hell.

The 2SL is a strange beast indeed. 2x160 watts all tube. Preamp has some strange options for notching frequencies, pre gain insert points, pickup compensation, tons of boost cut options, etc. cool amp. works great as a power amp too, using the fx returns.

Anyone using the KR7? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this amp.

Just tracked an album with a Knucklehead Reverb 100 and an older Knucklehead 100 (bassman style chassis). More then enough gain in the KR100. Boosted the K100 with a Tubescreamer, and tracked all of the cleans with the KR100. Love these amps now!!

I had a K-Tre...which I traded for a Splawn Nitro. It was one of my biggest blunders ever in terms of moving gear around.

Anyway, I would imagine the K Tre is a bit different than the amp you have coming, but my experience with it was very positive - great, loud clean tones and super-brutal distortion...as in the amp had more available distortion that I've ever played AND on top of that it had a gain boost.

So, from me, two thumbs up for Rivera products based soley on my exp. with the Tre.

I only have a Luke 4x12, but it is bad-ass!! I`d love a K-tre sometime, but being a regular paycheck guy with two kids, a house and a wife, it`s not going to be tomorrow, that`s fersure.

A buddy of mine owned a Bonehead(that matched the luke 4 12)

it was an awesome amp!

I also would like to know the any thoughts about this amp to. ;)

I had a KR55 and loved it. It is one of a hand full of amps I miss at times.

I had a Bonehead.. was great for tones - all - clean, crunch, lead - but LOUD as f**k. Still kicking myself for selling it...

i'm kickin myself for not buying my buddies when he sold it years ago...

that amp had a fucking sex clean channel!

I've owned and gigged with a K55 and M100. Absolutely loved the M100, and will own one again.

Kind of a really late bump, but I'm pretty interested to know
about any other owners on this board since it looks like alot
of people here own alot of other high end amps..
Could be interesting to know how the rivera compares to them.
