(meaning those of you who are familiar with the entire Lizzy catalog & Lynott solo records)... that Pink's style of vocal melody is sort of similar to Phil Lynott's?

Pink? you mean the girl that sings?

Either her or that stripper from Cleveland.

Dunno, but it would be cool to her her do a Lizzy tune. Her Queen/Zeppelin covers were pretty good. Any direct comparisons you were thinking of?

Well it's more the way she phrases melodies -- but perhaps the song U & UR Hand and Lizzy's Got To Give It Up. Or her Please Don't Leave Me and Sykes' (and Lynott's) Please Don't Leave Me/Don't Hurt Me This Way.

Pink has an awesome voice. I can kinda see what you mean I guess and I'd like to hear her do a Thin Lizzy cover.

I'd never thought about it before, but there may be something to it. I'm relatively familiar with her stuff (my wife loves it and we do a couple of tunes in the cover band), and in thinking about it you may have a point.

It would be interesting to hear her do something like "Borderline"...

definitely, Drew.
She a real musician with an awesome rock voice and she really rocks hard. When I saw her doing Bohemian live with her band I was blown away.
