Anybody see Yngwie live lately?

Also, I don't know if he does this every gig but, towards the end of the last song he switched his Fender to a Squire, kept playing on it and destroying the guitar in the end. He then threw the broken parts to the audience and the people were on them like zombies...

Small world...St. Andrews in Detroit is where I saw him too. Marching out wasn't released yet.

Seeing him in London this year.... I will be bringing ear defenders as I can't stand trebley sharp high end live, I have no idea why people use such tones and think it sounds good. Loads of fizz treble, can ruin a gig and is more common with small local acts plugging into a TSL and calling it a day

Awesome!!! It was a killer show. Yes, Marching Out was not released yet.

Saw him on the G3 tour years ago with Satch & Vai...........he swung the guitar behind his back, kicked his leg up in the air & threw picks in the audience every 20 seconds.......that's all I remember about him

Here is even a SMALLER WORLD...
I saw him In Saginaw Michigan in 1985 opening for AC/DC
Guy got around!

His mix was so terrible for that show. It was just pure muddled mess.
But granted it was LOUD!
Would like to see him again though.

He still does that. :)
I was able to catch one of his picks too. A guy next to me went zombie on me trying to intercept that pick from me almost scratching my arm.
I starred at him with "WTF dude??" look and about to "unleash the fooking fury" on him but then he immediately apologized.

Definitely wear the earplugs, last time I saw him a few years ago it was insanely loud and piercing...

I've seen him at least 4 times:

Eclipse tour - opened for Dio Lock up the Wolves tour when Jens Johansson was Dio's keyboardist. I remember he threw his guitar in the air and missed it. It smashed and he threw it into the crowd.

Fire and Ice tour - I remember a huge crowd, getting crushed, fairly close to the stage, great show

Seventh Sign tour with Mike Vescara, Symphony X opened... amazing.. was at a small club and we were standing right in front of him the whole time, I got picks, touched his guitar while he was playing, his hair in my face, sweat upon..

3-4 years ago with Ripper Owens - insanely loud, solos were a wank fest, spent more time kicking picks than anything else

I've seen him a dozen times. Always killer. One time there were only 30 people at the show. He took requests. Show was badass.

Sounds like when I saw LA guns a few years ago at a small local theater. Place holds 1200 and I couldn't even count 50 people there. I'm going to get tickets for Yngwie. The place is small so it ought to be easy to get a great view.

Second time in a row he's skipping Phoenix and playing in Tucson instead. WTF? I might go down there, but I've seen him twice before. Need to take Mrs. Lee, but Brian May is still on my bucket list and they're coming to Phoenix a few weeks later. Top priority.

I inadvertently saw LA Guns at a small local bar (that used to be a strip club) in Tempe a few years back (2013-ish). My ex-girlfriend was bartending on her first night, and she invitied me up for moral support. I went up there and saw them but wasn't too impressed.

Definitely go! He seems to have maintained his chops through the years.

I saw him live last week. He was awesome. I've seen him around 10 times. I've never been disappointed after seeing him.

I guy I know is opening for him here soon. The club full is only a few hundred people. I have not seen him since the 80's.
