Anyone else digging this new Ghost?

I heard it on the radio the other day. I like the hooks and the melody. The schtick is not my cup of tea. I understand that they are Fractal Audio artists.

I really dig Ghost. For some time, I would see their album cover, or logo or whatever and think it must be some real death metal stuff that I'd never like. Then I saw them play Cirice and was thrown for a loop. From there, I got all the albums and saw them recently in Cleveland. I've done some reading about them, and I think its pretty clear the whole "satanist" angle is only for theatrical value, and I think they've even said this in no uncertain terms. The whole "mystery" of who they are is kinda fun...like the dramatics at their shows, its rock music... its fun, humorous, and everyone has a good time. If that's not what its all about, I don't know what is.

I think we've seen it play out in the past haven't we. Kiss, Ozzy, Judas Priest, and dozens of other bands. It's good stage performance and entertainment.

Fun band.

They are to Satan what Velveeta is to Vermont Cheddar...

Not real but a hell of a lot of fun with catchy songs to boot...

Not a fan of the nonsense imagery etc. but the music itself is good. They have grown on me.

First time I've heard them....not really my thing but I didn't hate it. Strangely enough that first tune reminds me of Blue Oyster Cult.
