These days there are crap load of 36 and 40v battery powered chainsaws. No need for an AC one when it comes to electric ones.
There are no battery powered chainsaws that are worth a shit. Unless you have 40 spare batteries. It's like electric cars. They're great as long as you don't need to go more than 400 miles away.

I saw where they did a test on a Ford Electric truck. They hooked an empty double axle trailer to it, fully charged it and sent it on it's way. I think it made it 90 miles.

My Tesla electric chainsaw even auto cuts down a tree without having to hold it.

Anyway a 40v electric chainsaw is better than Aynirars current chainsaw which saw him up shit creek... ie. no chainsaw lol

I'll stick with the Stihl.
Yeah well I was being funny but I do use makita 36V whipper snippers, hedge trimmers and blowers including a blower vac. They are pretty good but granted I have a smallish yard. The blower and blower vac is as good as my Stihl 86 so I'm a bit of a convert. The whipper snipper is excellent too and now I don't stink of 2 stroke all the time. I'm not into electric cars or motorcycles though as you can tell lol - Electric Harleys yeeech... and they have one too. I do often have large messes to clean up including on my roof... That's gum trees for you. Incidentally the batteries are of course compatible with my battery power drill and impact driver being all from the same makita ecosystem which was deliberate.

My wife has a tiny battery powered chain saw. It works good for some demo projects. Think cutting out a bathroom floor when you don't want to replace all the drywall.

Honestly I reckon you'd be surprised at a better battery chainsaw but I have to admit I've never tried their chainsaws only their other stuff. That said I've had professional tree loppers cutting down huge trees behind us and I can assure you they don't use battery ones lol

You hell bent in fucking up that new truck

Youre like me with a new guitar. Im never happy adjusting it until i have to take it to someone who knows what hes doing

Then i have to hear the luthier say who the hell was in this thing.

Me. Uhhhh it's the way i bought it.

Him
That's what you always say.

I got down the mountain just fine lol

I pulled it out of the way with a strap faster than I could have even started a chainsaw to be honest
Mind you it took you days to do it... You've only just got home to post this now I see! ;-)

I'll stick with the Stihl.
I also stick with Stihl. A little pricey but my local dealer treats me well and didn't give me shit about no masks during the pandemic or I would've found someplace else to shop. I had some Stihl saws from the 90's that were my grandfathers that still work well but I gave them to my brother when I bought a new saw in 2020.

I love the smell of 2-cycle gas in the morning.
If you can swing a king cab you can swing a tool box.
Surprised a Work Truck doesn't have an AC converter/plug in.
I've considered getting a Ryobi chainsaw for easy peasy lighter weight jobs.
My cabin is 8 miles off pavement down a gravel road in the middle of Mark Twain National Forest.
I've already been caught once with my pants down forgetting my chainsaw. No more. :D

Are you in Missouri?
