I am specifically wondering whether or not it colors the tone as immensely as my Intellifex does when used in a series loop. If you have any experience with a Replifex, let me know! Thanks.

The Replifex will color it more when enabled. When bypassed, it'll sound the same as the Intellifex bypassed. Make sure they're set to pre-HUSH for the least amount of coloration.

I'm borrowing a Replifex and also using an Intellifex. I tried both serial and parallel and i don't hear much difference as long as the Hush is off or set to pre, not post, like Code noted.

Thanks, fellas. I will double check that on my Intellifex.

I have a Replifex and 2 Intellifex units. They sound great... once again, as long as the Hush is off.

I have had my Intellifex for almost 9 years and I have never run it without the HUSH. I got addicted to no noise.

+1 on defeating the hush. I've been using mine for 12 years with Jubilees and more recently an SLO and it works pretty well. ...I know how much everyone hates those SLO loops, works fine for me.

Had a Decimator Pro Rack G for a long time. In the series loop of my JVM 410H, It colored the tone more than a new Hush Super C. Maybe I will try another Decimator. I haven't tried one with the Fortin.

I turned the Hush off on my Intellifex and there is still coloration. I tried it set to pre and also with the Hush I/O set to off. A slight difference but still pretty noticable coloration. With the Girth, Grind, Depth, and Presence controls on the Fortin I can pretty much dial it back to where it was. I am going to dig out my Hush Super C today for the hell of it and see what happens.
