Anyone into the 50's wiring?

I prefer it as well. I like the way 50's keeps the treble intact. In the only A/B test that I've heard, 50's wiring sounded a little warmer maxed out and the modern was a bit more hi-fi (lows & highs).

in my experience (3 guitars with) same sound but a little louder . 50" wiring is like to change your good guitar cable to the best guitar cable .
I never go back .

I like 50's wiring myself as it makes the controls a bit more useable to my ears anyway.

I recently had my Les Paul converted to 50's wiring.

I like it better than a treble bleed circuit. Very smooth sounding.

It takes some getting used to. The controls interact with both pickups a little differently.

The volume control is like having a treble bleed. So I really dig that. The volume does drop off a little when you roll back tone. So I compensate for that in the rest of the rig.

Overall it's got me dialing in some great sweet spots with both the volume and tone rolled back.

I'll search latter, but has anyone figured out how to do a 50's to Modern on say a Tone Push/Pull? Then u could have it all!

I guess someone needs to explain how 50's wiring is different... I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything.

the way it is wired it is so dark it is unusable IMO
