As staightforward as it is, maybe any of you know a place that could use a remote worker with Management degree and corresponding experience(Project Management, Brand Management, Procurement Management)?

Heck, I’d work for a lower than market wage even.

And Happy Independence day y’all!

What is your actual salary/wage expectation? That might help with recommendations.

I was applying for jobs the last half of 2023 into 2024 and a few months this year. I haven't heard back from 99% of them. Positions I'm well qualified (and over-qualified for). I've been applying to in-person AND remote. With everything I've been seeing, it looks like the job market is just completely saturated with Ghost Jobs.

One listing that really cheesed me off was Quality Assurance Management for Fujifilm. My last job was Head of Quality Control for an entire company. I applied with resume reflecting and a cover letter also stating that I did professional photography for the past 10 years with *only* Fujifilm cameras. I listed out which ones, my portfolio and not only am I qualified for the position, I'm passionate about the Fujifilm company. I didn't even get a rejection email or call. The job market is absolutely lovely.

Anything above a grand a month makes it possible to survive where I am from to give you some perspective.

And I guess in US market people with such credentials might be hitting six figures annually, right? I’d kill for half of that(not literally ofc)

This is a remote job doing data annotation to train AI. It is legit from everything I've read about it. Starting pay is only $20/hr but you set your own schedule from what I understand.

If you have any coding skills they have some positions that offer $40/hr.

Azerbaijan

I hear tensions with Russia are heating up. Stay safe.

On the job front, there is a focus on doing more onshore. I would see what local companies have ties to or work contracts with foreign companies for offshore work. Many of the H1B visa people I've worked with started offshore, before they found H1B roles onshore, usually with the same company, then find new H1B visa roles here at US wage levels. It's a process, but fewer qualify now unless it's AI or quantum skills.

That said, many of these offshore companies take most of the money while paying local scale wages to the workers. Some companies have local offices in other countries which would be your best option IMO.

I just asked this in google:

Thank you for the advice! No easy feat to find such a job without being a tech/IT specialist. And I am not one.

Results from google are false, there definitely no Apple or Google quarters here that I know of.

Best of luck out there. I recently wrote a letter of recommendation for a friend to get her into a masters program for business analytics.
At this point she’s doing it for herself because the job opportunities are so scarce. The options seem to be a low paying job with nice benefits, or a higher paying job that offers nothing else, and as someone with a young kid, she has to go for the benefits

Good luck Crystal Sky, praying for your successful job hunt!!!
Thank you for your support brother!
