They seem like a great solution to the pitfalls of single coils.

had the juicybucker in a strat i owned for a while, great little pickup

had a more organic tone than the usual single coil sized humbuckers i had a look at

Cool, did you go with the split option as well on the juicy bucker? Why'd you move on from it?

yeah i went for the split as well, but only used the split for the middle/bridge position, it was like 10 dollars more at the time so

i left the pickup in the guitar when i sold it, seeing as i had no other strats/single coil guitars i didn't see any point in keeping it
the strat was a roadworn 60s, bought used, it sounded good but i just couldn't seem to get along with the vintage radius

Yeah, I hear ya about the vintage radius. I recently bought an Eric Johnson Strat which has a 12" radius. I never got along with the typical Fender radius - just cramps my hand up after awhile. There's very little information about the Zexcoils, which is a shame, because they seem to be quite good. I particularly am attracted to a PAF humbucker sound in the bridge position, the lack of hum and the even volume in the 2nd and 4th positions.

Just installed the 7% overwind neck plus regular middle in a Suhr that had ML's (bridge is a JB). They are KILLER, dead quiet and sound fantastic, they have all those great qualities of a single coil you want. I love them and highly recommend them. I will try and do a video demo in the next few weeks

Se7en, I have two sets of Zexcoils; a signature set that Mike@Switchback is installing for me, and a set of SV5/SV5/SV5+ getting installed on an EJ/warmoth neck build coming up. I had the signature set installed in a strat previously, and it sounded great; to me, it was slightly less "wide" than a normal humbucker, compared to say a single coil, but the EQ and output sounded dead on. Positions 2 and 4 sounded great, had push/push pots installed so I could tap the neck and bridge buckers. I'll do clips if you like when both are built and in my hands.

Thanks for chiming in guys. Clips would be a big help. I'm thinking of going with the Juicy Bucker for the bridge and not sure if I should go with the Signature Set or more vintage single coils in middle/neck.
