anyone raising volume of a lower powered amp with PS-2?

Specifically a Friedman 20 watt.

I have several big amps around the house, 85-120 watts.

I LOVE the Dirty Shirley tone and was thinking about snagging the mini for jamming around the house. I also plan on getting a Fryette Power station at some point and was thinking that if I ever jump back in with my band and need more volume (crazy loud band) I could boost the volume with the PS.

Anyone doing this with good results?

Works well, as you're describing. Best part of the PS, (in my opinion), is it beefs up the bass a good bit too, so a smaller amp will not only gain some volume and headroom, but some girth and thump with the added depth control on the PS. Can make a small amp sound pretty damn huge!

Nice! Not that I'd necessarily need to raise the volume. I maxed out a PT once through a 412 and it was plenty loud but if I was trying to keep up with a loud drummer, it's nice to know that it would work. Thanks

Works exactly as it should. I used a PS 1 with a 12w Bogner at gigs and an 18w Evil Robot as well.
Wonderful cranked tones

I've played gigs with my little Yamaha THR10X being powered by my PS 1. Works really well!
