i dunno but that one sure sounds different from my mod100 and my friends hammet version of the rm100
on my lynch box i had to run the presence down and the depth almost all the way up to get the same oomph as the same exact modules run on the other heads.
i am pretty sure the lynch box power section was tweaked towards lynch's preferences just like the hammet 100 is a little different from the standard rm100 in the power section.

I have a Lynch Box I still play but i have to admit i find it lacking in the depth and fullness department compared to other amps I have. That said, the judge is a great module as is the Friedman Brahma and I am hoping getting one of those salvation MDA presence boards will help open the amp up because tone wise, it can def. hang. $HIT $HIT effects loop though. How do you guys run your effects? Wet/Dry?
You use to be able to get the RM100 modded to use dual channel eggy modules. The RM50 didn't have enough room or something like that.
I believe Bruce will still do the mod to the RM100. I also believe the limiting factor in converting is MIDI, which the RM50 doesn't have and the RM100 does. That's my understanding, but I could be wrong.
I, personally, prefer the MOD100 to the RM100. I had the modification done to the RM100 and decided to just keep the MOD100, but my favorite modular amp is the MOD50.
