Anyone using synergy to add channels to an amp?

I was thinking of grabbing a Syn1 to add a clean channel to my Monomyth 2204. Do any of you guys use the Synergy modules? I've heard some good and bad about them. The bad thing I heard was that the power amp was kinda noisey but using my own amps power amp seems like it would avoid that issue. I would also like to try some of the other mods vs buying more amps but it seems like the every time I try to take a shortcut on grabbing more amps I always end up disappointed(Kemper, HX Stomp, amp in a box pedals, etc).

I've got a pair of Syn-2's connected to my Mod50, love it. But I've been modular for over 10 years as I bought my Mod50 early on in production.
