I've owned my Engl E850/100 power amp for well over 10+ years, purchased new; 6L6. It works well with my preamps, and can stay clean or get dirty. Last I knew Engl still makes the E840/50
I would look at the old tube rack power amps, Mesa, Fryette, Marshall, etc. or a modern solid state power amp if you plan to get your tone from the preamps.
Looks like Fryette is still making tube rack power amps!
