I'm checking prices on the SV20h plexi as the features appeal to me (EL34/ 5W power mode / Loop) and I see huge price jumps in Canada now with these things being 1900$ CAD. Actual 50/100 watter reissue 800's or Plexis are going for over 4K! Are they nuts? Do they think that a reissue head is worth more than a vintage head with mustards and hefty transformers? At this rate I'd sooner buy 70's superleads for 3K. Personally I'm glad I got what amps or amp kits I could while I did. My 800 combo cost me 850$ way back when. That was a lot for me then. Glad I had the foresight to pick that up. Wish I had bought a bunch of 5150's as well. Used market has seen a huge jump as well thanks to these reissues. The only deals I still see locally are on 60's and 70's fenders believe it or not. Those seems reasonably priced. Are you guys also seeing big price hikes in your local used markets?
