this is a pretty hooky melodic metal track I'm working on. Hard drive's a mess so I used my Tascam dp-01 to record which gets a strange vibe but worked alright.
anyway you can here in the YT clip what my base vocals will be (sans actual lyrics which are about the Colorado shootings. they're non political. they're just about the shooting and how it's a waste of life and that it's sad.

I am still looking for people to collaborate with and form an online alliance. we can work on my material as a team or form a full project that's a complete democracy where we utilize our strengths as individuals for eachother as a true group. either is fine for me but until them if anyone wants to do some drum, bass or even vocal tracks on this one or others let me know. I can always re record songs for better quality if someone jumps in on it.

fractal audio axe fx II. That's all I really use at home unless I'm in the other room. then it's a tubemeister 18.

unfortunately I go full retard WAY too often.... I'm still working on the percentage adjustment to make it rich :D
 
this is a jet/C/DC rip off I'm writing.
no post eq or really any mixing etc just 1 shot record for each track.
3 rhythm and one lead.
lead and cleanest rhythm down the middle and the other two at 33% left and right.
I plan on adding a 5 string sweep passage in the middle with a tapping crescendo that goes back into the pentatonic licks for the solo but I need more riffs first.
but this is all axe fx II, me and my stock (other than setup) 04 Gsibson SG platinum edition special (has brushed chrome appointments and an ebony fret board.
the full pickguard IS actually aluminum or some type of metal too. Drop D with SIT powerwounds 10-46 on it.
pickups are about a nickel and a half from the strings poles are adjusted to be even height with a radius like the board but otherwise all stock.

I mainly want a drummer that can use drum software such as toontracks ez or superior drummer and has access to it and can use an e-kit and has one (live we don't have to use it but if we work online or in my studio electric drums would make things way more efficient.

so mainly a drummer but also second guitarist (some lead ability a plus but solid rhythm is all that's required. if you can play this song then you're fine. and a bassist.

I would like to have a duo with a drummer but others welcome, start online but if we are to play live I would like an album, a single, one shirt at least before we play shows so we have a product to market and make up for the money spent playing the show because I'm POOR lol. anyway hit me up if you likw this or any other tracks and want to get something going! :) thanks!

As someone that works with those with DDs seeing this is pretty awesome. I work with a young kid that has Asberger's and he loves music. This is pretty darn cool. You have some serious chops DD or not.

hello you invisible responseless beings you! :D this is a collaborative rough draft between me and a friend in Brazil (i'm in Orwell Ohio USA).
Now this is the begining stages of it but i feel it's worthy simply because it's an online collaboration and it has drums! lol. i tracked the solo (though i will likely track 20 or so more and cherry pick. I will say i play to a click but i do not cut and paste my solos. what you hear is my actual playing not doctored to make me sound better, which is why my work sucks lol. anyway here it is SO FAR)
