I never took a covid test my kids and parents are still alive. Seems like a waste of time but it's your time so I guess if you like sticking swabs up your nose....

Why do I believe that a machine designed specifically to test for covid can tell if someone has covid or not? Hmm

I don’t. I think what you said is pretty selfish to be honest. I thought I was clear that I want to know if I have covid or not because I said I have “young children, old parents and my wife works in other people’s homes”

It’s not that I don’t want to get sick, it’s that I don’t want to put myself in a position to get those other people I mentioned sick. That is important to me. That gives me meaning that a prayer would not.

lol well I didn’t design the machine, so sure, you can I have “faith” that it works property if that is how you chose to think

I am in the same basic situation as you. One kid at home. Wife goes to other people's homes. There is no concern about us spreading it because it was other people who gave it to us. In that situation prayer was much more helpful than a covid test kit. I am also able to tell which direction the breeze is blowing without a windvane so the kits aren't telling me stuff I would already know.

I think the kits are mostly trash to be honest. I walk by an actual machine every day in a health care facility, and I am allowed to use it, so why not?
I personally don’t see the benefit of praying for something that simple human actions can prevent just the same

So it’s part of my Monday routine. I have young kids, old parents and my wife works in other people’s homes. I prefer to know what we may or may not have.

Molecular? rapid antigen? antibody? PCR vs Multiplex PCR? Do you have a preference?
