The quarantine-until-vaccine paradigm is a bioterror response, not public health.
I didn’t say that the quarantine was part of his plan.
All I said was his pandemic plan did not prepare us very well for this pandemic.

And again, I'm saying that we did not follow that plan, which also was motivated by biowarfare and counterterrorism threats. And quarantine is part of these plans.

Debbie Lerman at Brownstone has put so much of the puzzle together. I suggest reading her work on this.

and I said that if you believe that, more power to ya. Me personally, I don't really care about the topic of the military response to the pandemic, so maybe someone will talk about it with ya

When did Trump sign the Moderna Deal? ?
don't care to verify it, but this is taken from one of his speeches

"as a result of this unprecedented investment, we are exceedingly proud that both Pfizer and Moderna have announced that their vaccines are approximately 95 percent effective, which is a number that nobody expected to be able to get to, far exceeding anything that really we — that anybody thought. We went out and we said, “What do you think a maximum would be?” And I think doctors — we all came up to the conclusion that something like that would be really incredible.

And we have other candidates looking right now. We have some big ones that we’re going to be announcing very soon. We have some companies — great, great companies out there you all know about: Johnson & Johnson and — and others. And they’re all coming in, and they’re coming in very quickly. We expect to have some news on that very shortly. And we have worked very well with the companies, but if for any reason we have any problems, we will be instituting the Defense Production Act, and we will make sure that we don’t have any problems for very long. We’ve instituted it before."

It was before "Operation Warp speed"

Why don't you care? Does it cause discomfort, cognitive dissonance?

...And you also changed the subject of the GBD to a critique of the AIER. You're kinda a case study in avoidance.

I just dont care man. This shit is like 4 years old now. I’m kinda over it.

I have a personal connection with AEIR so I talked about them. I did not agree with the GBD (ironically barely anyone in Great Barrington did).
Again, that’s old hat by now and I’m not all that interested in going any deeper than that. Been there done that

I did not agree with the GBD
Okay, we don't have to discuss it, but you continually offer your opinions about these things, mostly in a snarky manner. But then when you're challenged you don't want to discuss further. It's annoying.

If you ever decide you want to join the conversation more than making smug snipes, please do. I'd love to know what you objected to about the GBD, which ironically is the conclusion most health agencies are more or less promoting now.

Just because I state an opinion on something doesn’t mean I owe anyone an explanation behind it. Especially not an overly proud self proclaimed “contrarian”.

Have you read the GBD? What about my posting history makes you think I’d be all for a plan that basically says “let the weak hide or get sick, everyone else has stuff to do”?
Do you really need me to go into it any further?
