atomica, obama, oahu and me

in san fran airport im on my way to oahu to attend a family wedding, spend time with my boy and his bride, and play zachman's atomica!! also brought my ethos for Z to check out.
and lo and behold the prez is in SF and air force one is about 500 yards away as i type

saw the entourage leave with all of it's pageantry--surprised i didnt see steve vai parachute in with a fan strapped to his back

or al sharpton.

and since im videotaping the wedding im going to try to zap a few quickies of zach rocking the atomica in the wdw megarack

my son plays drums at his church and has set up a jam for us tonight

Oh man, jealous big time. Island breeze and jamming with family, good time for sure. :rock:

Post some pictures of the killer food you are gonna eat while you're there.

My Mother In law has met Obama twice at their Country Club in Laniki, Midpac. Can't wait to go back to Oahu, spending the first 2 weeks of March there. I plan on torturing myself a few times on the Koko head stairs. :doh:

Hey Pat, is Sandy Beach THE place for body boards? I'll be staying 3 minutes from there.

for me it is but not for inexperienced
i grew up at that beach and saw many a broken neck occur
but if you can handle super hollow 3-5 foot hawaiian. barrels you are golden!

have fun! I spent 2 weeks on the big island back in '99 when brother step-bro got married. I had an absolute blast just hanging on the beach and being a bum. LOVE that place!
 
Enjoy man... You know I'm jonesing to get back down there, but my island of choice in Kauai... Sun, surf, easy.

Avagoodone, and have some wasabi poke and Hawaiian style poke for me :thumbsup:
