I needed some extra cash for my project amp so I sold my Fryette Powerstation. Now I need to start looking for a replacement attenuator. Any suggestions apart from the Tube Amp Expander/Ox box? I may just get another captor and use a volume pedal in the loop again but I want to explore all my options first.

The Scumback DBL is a great attenuator with a line out. Do you need more features than that?

Cool, I didn’t know you made a reactive load.

To the OP, I’ve used a Suhr Reactive Load the last 3+ years and love it.

Thanks for the recommendations. I grabbed another captor for load box purposes but I'm not planning on using it for attenuation.

I just posted a thread and I am looking at the two notes captor X.

Ticks all of the boxes for me.

The Captor X looks nice. I will probably grab one in April. Until then I'm going to go with a regular captor.
