Hi All...

I just got back up and running with a personal computer (MacBook Pro) and it has High Sierra as the operating system. My trusty old M-Audio Mobile Pre USB is not compatible. What is a relatively cheap alternative? I am interested to start recording and posting videos here again. Any help would be much appreciated!!

It’s a good time to be looking, lots is good quality options at good prices. It’d really come down to how many inputs and outputs you want. I use the Universal Audio Mk II Twin and before that I had an Apogee Duet 2 for many years. They both work great with Pro Tools on my MacBook Pro. I record only myself so minimal inputs are fine for me.

I am using a Focusrite Scarlett. No complaints, works great.

Audient ID22 sounds really really good ! And you can expand to 8 more recording channels later with the ADAT input. Good value.
