Australian Parliament bans social media for under-16s with world-first law

How can they possibly enforce this without requiring some kind of ID while registering for the services? And wouldn't that open a can of worms as far as data collection? More goverment overreach.
 
Where you at thumbpicker? Personally I think it’s all toxic. I’m cool with TikTok, snatchchat, facebook and all that bullshit being restricted for kids. Hell kids nowadays can’t even carry on a conversation with you.

I agree with you and @thegame.

Great idea IMHO that'll do the kids good... but there's a HUGE problem:
