don't turn the other cheek to a rich man that's what the bullwhip is for
I absolutely loved school. I was polite to teachers and made a concerted effort to stay out of cliques and just sorta be chill with everyone. I think that shows the power that positivity and acceptance can have on a school. Kids are kids no matter where they grew up, however a great teacher or school system can make all the difference. A teacher that is able to allow kids to feel good about being themselves is almost paramount to the reading and writing skills. No offense but you kind of strike me as a golden boy. You had a wildly different experience than I did. Fights, angry language and insults everywhere, lots of bullies and people getting humiliated or just roughed up and their stuff broken or stolen, thieves stealing sound systems from cars, and a lot of the teachers were trash too and a lot of them looked the other way when favored students were involved. To forgive them I had to move many miles away. I ultimately dropped out of school and did an alternative education. It's a cruel, merciless system run mostly by dirtbags in my experience. I got so many messed up stories about some of those people. They are the evil people because they have departed from Christ.
Also the eye of the needle was a gate in Jerusalem. Not actually an "eye of a needle" literally speaking. It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to go to heaven. But with God all things are possible.
A verse often taken out of context to condemn all people with wealth. \

who you gonna callMy favorite SNL skit ever is Bill Murray as The Whipmaster. For some reason it’s very hard to find online but I think if it every time someone mentions a whip.
Or when we pull one out in the bedroom
How does this not surprise meI absolutely loved school.
Definitely. Especially when it involves them helping kids find their “true” gender and save the country from trump and nazis.A teacher that is able to allow kids to feel good about being themselves is almost paramount to the reading and writing skills.
What’s not to like about it? All your friends are there, you can meet girls and the you go play soccer. Easiest time of my lifeHow does this not surprise me
Kids that feel lost aren’t doing it for political reasonsDefinitely. Especially when it involves them helping kids find their “true” gender and save the country from trump and nazis.
I wasn’t talking about the kids, was I…Kids that feel lost aren’t doing it for political reasons

I think you’re being disingenuous. These activist teachers and administrators have zero business promoting novel ideas and therapies in a public school classroom, let alone without the knowledge of parents in some cases.Maybe you should be. It all might make a little more sense
Unless you feel there is a real world need and benefit for discussing such things in school, which I do.I think you’re being disingenuous. You’re putting the cart before the horse. Where is the data demonstrating your approach is helping anything?Unless you feel there is a real world need and benefit for discussing such things in school, which I do.
If adults want to argue about bathroom usage and sports records they can knock themselves out, but all the kids going through the actual shit shouldn’t suffer (more) because of it
What are you even talking about? You are the one saying that people are getting forced to use pronouns they don’t want to use and losing out in sports scholarships apparently. How can you be upset that something is happening, and then ask for a chart to tell you that something is happening.…where’s the objective, quantifiable test results showing that these kids even have the “Problem” that you and they think it is? You don’t. It’s based on self-reported feelings, no doubt affected by what you’re suggesting to them!
Good god man, I wasn't denying that kids don't have problems or suffer. I'm asking where is the data that supports your belief that there exists a specific childhood affliction and the only humane way to address it is to change gender identity and have everyone else go along with it. Apparently you never thought to ask these questions, or whether you might actually be doing more harm than good. I suppose it's easy to go along with all this if you kinda gloss over everything. And you do get the "Good-person" points and also tell others that they're stupid, uncaring bigots, so there's that. What are you even talking about? You just have to accept that this one isn’t about you man. It’s really that simple and it’s the last thing I’m going to say about it
I didn’t say any of that. Nobody has said any of that ever. I’ve made my points, in multiple threads now.
